ABOUT
Yaynoc Records: “Where Music is the Voice” is a record label producing its own music catalog. The conceptual idea of a record label is not a “new thing,” but each tends to have an identity of its own. Yaynoc Records was established February 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia under the leadership of Joseph Benjamin (CEO). Although the business model still in its early stages, the vision has been proclaimed and vividly being executed.
The vision is to bring to the listening audience music that lends to an instrumentalist the opportunity for texture, feel, grace, elegance of instrumentation, and spiced with astounding vocals. Yaynoc Records is not genre based, but instead prefer vibe and feel to be the forefront in the creation of their music.
Yaynoc brought together a team of local musicians and vocalists – that ordinarily would not have come together – for their debut EP release. The unit articulated three distinctive songs iconic of the Yaynoc brand: “Can I Stay,” “Fading,” and “She’s A Rider.”
Yaynoc Records believes musicians and vocalists collectively should share the same spotlight. Their format allows the keyboardist, guitarist, bassist, drummer, and vocalist to share the light normally held by a front-person/lead vocalist. Under the Yaynoc umbrella, everyone is an instrument to the music, thus deserving equal talent showcasing. As stated by CEO Joseph Benjamin, an example of their belief, “If Beethoven and Hendrix had been of the same era and had shared the same stage, which would have been in the spotlight?” Joseph Benjamin said … THE MUSIC!
