What is music publishing? Well, this podcast courtesy of “Authentik” and Scott Austin will provide a general overview of music publishing, however certainly there are books and web links dedicated to the topic.
This podcast is the property of Authentik and appreciative for allowing the community to share great music information. Please visit Authentik @ http://authentikartists.com/. Parties are not endorsers of YAYNOC RECORDS views.
Key question and answer the panelist wanted the audience to take from the event.
Q. How do you find a good music publisher?
A. Songwriters Association & Relationships – Relationships was the highlight of the evening. The panelist wanted to drive home the importance of this word (relationship). If by chance you have encountered a relationship in the business, honor the relationship that opened the door of your career or could possibly open the door. Travel through the chain of that relationship with respect so as not to blacklist you and your efforts.
